Welcome. Best and cheapest route to go is find a junker 76 or 77. They were all disc brake 5 lug cars. Some 75's had them too.

Some 74's had manual disc also. I swapped my disc from my 74 to my 73 Comet. Welcome to the board. Lots of friendly people here, willing to help anyway we can. Just ask away.....

    thanks again

Sorry it took so long, but I have to use the computer at work. I guess now I'll have to buy one, as I'm becoming addicted to this. I'll have to begin my search for yet anoter parts car, that will make my wife happy. She just dosen't understand.I recently got 2 parts cars for the ultra low price of FREE. A 70 and a 71 bodies a gone but some trim is good,so it was worth hauling them home. Thanks again for the brake help.

Is it floor shift or column shift? I may be getting a 200CI 6-Cyl maverick soon that I would like to convert to a stick. If you ever end up converting to a 302 Automatic I will purchase the standard tranny and all linkage components for the small 6-cyclinder .... Thanks .. Dan

I'm sure it will be in the family for a while my 19 month old son saw it in my shop and said, mine car maybe he's getting mav mania too. Don, it's a a column shift when I do the swap to a v8 maybe we could work something out. I also have a 200 6cyl I dont know anything about it but if you are interested let my know. Thanks for all the wecome notes, it's good to know theres others out there that are as nuts over mavs as me.
