    Brazilian's Informations

Hei guys, tank you for the hostess. Here in Brazil were manufactured only about 109.000 mavericks, begining in 1974 to 1979. That's nothing if we compare with the america.:(
You know too that we have a diferent model in the back, like this in the picture (a friend car, called Marcelo). The second picture is the "House of the Mavericks" here in Rio de Janeiro. See the blue maverick ? Hahaha, it's a Brazilian exclusivity.:bananaman

    More Brazilian informations

About the international meet, we in Brazil have to say that it could be here. And what? Because of the gas price. Here the gas is very expensive, what about U$ 4,00 by the gallon. Hehehe.
Above more pictures, now about The Maverick Centauro, a kit that were made in the 70's but I didn't have see any in the streets here.
The other picture it's me (in the left) and my friend Claudio Spiller, cutting the spring fo my mav(our cars are very lowered, hehehe). In the back a Rural Willys in a painting job. Great job no?
I have more pictures, and I will put it on the forum. There are a station here, next to my house and I will take a picture for you, if you want.(y)

Stefan, the House of the Mavericks it's a garage, in Rio de Janeiro, were we park ours mavericks. It's a old factory of a friend that rent for us to park and restore our mavs. There are a painting job, part restore, suspension job, motor etc. Is the only house dedicadet to the mavs in Brazil. We have established a Maverick Club in Rio, to make meets and events, but it's in the begining. We will win. (y)
About the exclusive blue maverick? Hehehe. It was a friend, Claudio Spiller, that in the year of 1987, had modified the front of the car, based in the pontiac transam (hehehe, GM:slap: ), and that is the result. The car has several modifications and i think it's look good. The interior has completed modified, and i have more photos of it, but, i don't finding now in my pc, but, i will send more pictures to you when i find.
About the Hollywood mav? Well, it's a speed race pensioner car. It was one of the most fasted cars of the 70's in Brazil, and he had wined more grand prixs in that time. Now is only a exhibition car. In the 70's, the mavericks was the kings of the races in Brazil, and his principal oponent, the GM opala (inspirated in the europe GM opel) had no chance, nor the dodges that was made in Brazil too. Hehehe. We are the champions!!!!!;)
