THANKS!! glad you like it. the paint is called omaha orange by a company named hawthorne, you can buy the paint on e-bay for only $40.00 a gallon plus shipping i really like the paint it sprays on nice.it sure was a nice alternative to the $140.00 a gallon paint i was goint to buy. the cars not ready to go outside quite yet,its still on jack stands, but i do have a test door i painted that same color if you would like to see it. as far as the engine goes right now its the stock 302, although i am going to put a aluminum intake and 4bbl on it,with some chrome under the hood. then when funds allow im thinking maybe a 347. good eye maverickman yes those are 17" torq-thrust.
Hello Ed and welcome to the board. I live in the Copperfield area of Houston (Hwy 6 and FM529). I'm headed through Spring later today. Racing my Mustang at the new track (Houston Motorsports Park) in the Car Club Wars (points races). I'm getting closer and closer to getting my Maverick on the strip. I'm spending way too much time on the Mustang of late trying to make it get out of it's own way (slow AOD with bolt-ons). Keep up the good work, looks like you've got a great start on yours. Rick
looks like it is going to be a great looking car when it is finished. some time i'll get working on the outside of mine. especially if you guys and gals keep posting those good looking pictures.
