glad you all greeted, i love them fords and ford lovers. thanks again.
i am from Mo. in the south west corner of the bootheel, town of Senath. I have a wife and 6 children and 7 grand children. we all love drag racing and in fact our home track is the famous George Ray's Wildcat Drag strip in Ar. you can see my dragcar and drag truck at www.geocities.com/robert_dogoli the numbers on the car and truck are last years, this year the car ran a 6.47 (1/8)mile and the truck ran a (and remember, 4000+lb's) 6.86. if you go to my web site, click on message board and find picture links from Sunday races. my truck are also on "some race cars" just click on my blue maverick. thanks,I enjoy all responses

Hey big daddy bob, I live in kentucky but my mothe rand brother live in Paragould, Ar. I used to date a girl there and we went to George Rays a few times as spectators. saw a mav there once that was running a Windsor with intake plates and a 302 manifold. pretty wild place, if I remember right when they had a real fast car they let it do a by run and come back down on the strip because the return lane is(or was) gravel. Glad to have you aboard, if you haven't yet check out the MCCI, join in great club with wonderful people, I know it is a long ways and very short notice but there is an annaul get together called the round up, where we meet, drag race, eat, see something, eat, show off our cars and socialize, eat but most importantly we eat.....Just kidding, we have a great time!

george has finally paved the return lane, lol. does your brother go to georges much? my maverick is a 355w, canfield stage 3 heads, victor jr intake, roller cam/rockers 14:1 compretion, 542gears, 2 speed with trans break and electric shift, 7al ignition, 32/14's on the back, tubed, 8point cage, bear disc all around.

good to hear from you, and the rest of the gear heads on this site, my daughter and i really enjoy cars, expecially our mavericks. my 70 is down with a bad gas tank,:( trying to find out were i can get a replacement right now, not having much luck. tryed boiling it out at the radiator shop but the poor thing just fell apart, gave it a good barial though, and it is resting in peace. if anyone on here can give me a website or phone number to call that has replacement tanks i would apprietiate it.(y) thanks, Big Daddy Bob

Bob, I know I'll be coming through in Nov at the latest, maybe I could stop by and visit a bit, I'll try keeping in touch with you as time gets closer. My brother is pretty busy and not much of a gearhead so I don't think he goes there very often, although he got me to go there the first time.
