new paint

    What kind of grit paper do you use to wet sand paint? What kind of process do you go about using when sanding your car?

    i use 1500 grit to wet sand

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Looks good...Might I suggest a soft sanding block for the wet sanding process so you dont put finger grooves in the finish...Hit it again with 2000 grit before buffing it out as well...It will have great depth and luster when your done.
