I took these pictures yesterday to send to Hagerty's for my new policy. I wasn't pleased with the developing of the previous pictures from the Dewey Car show. I am pleased with the way these came out. All of these are exterior shots. Next I'll post some interior shots. E.W.
very nice...one question... where are your firewall to shock tower braces? and is there a reason they are off..??
To answer your question, they're sitting in my shop, on the shelf. Yes, they are off for a reason. I'm planning on pulling the hood hinges off, along with the upper shock cups, and painting them along with the shock tower braces. Just haven't gotten around to it yet. Honestly, I would like to add some round adjustable shock tower braces, and add a brace that goes across the engine, in between the shock towers. I haven't found a good source for them yet though....
Don't run to long without the shock tower braces. The ones that Stephen Moore (CometGT1974) has are from www.mpgheads.com but he had to modify then to fit his car. He started with the Falcon kit.
the round adjustable shock tower braces are availamle from mpg head in colorado. they are for an early mustang. you have to cut about 3/4" off each end and retap the left hand thread as it dosen't go all the way through. they advertise in the back of the mustang and fast ford magazine.you can see them in the thread "fun ford weekend" on 12/04/04.
I just found out that Total Control Products also sells these braces too...I doubt that they will fit on mine with the fuel injection manifold in the way...but here is the link for others to take a look: http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/tower.html
