Hi, Just got a 76 Comet 302 from my brother. It was originally my uncles project car that he started to restore. Looking to upgrade some things in the near future and I’m sure I’ll be asking questions since it has not been driven in almost 2 years From the South Jersey/Philadelphia area.
Alright ! .... no more Mavericks, Comets' or Mercs' - glad to see unusual Comet being rescued. my '74 Maverick has a '76 Comet front Clip and Hood for a little more room. I like the 'big bumpers -' with a little help can look as a mid-70's car should. The Mav/Comet clip '74 is sometimes mistaken for a 'Firebird or Trans-Am' by non-enthusiasts. . . the '76 donor (VIN - ' Comet GT' 200/C4 ) : . . haev fun
Welcome from Portland, OR. Yeah....That car is an awesome entry into the old car world. I think you got a several year headstart on many of us!!!
