Been running the PA 26103 C-4. Lasted 2 years. Just got a new X-6 from Dynamic Racing. Hopefully this one will hold up a little longer. (y) Sounds like it has some pretty good parts. :yup:

Looks nice! Does it still have the same gear ratios as your old one?

Thanks, I went with the 2.20 1st gear option. Hoping that will help with the traction problem. (y)

Last tranny was a PA 26103. Best ET so far is 8.04 in the thousand at 139 MPH. Should be in the 7's very soon. (y)

    Mike,

    Wow!, nice times.
My best is an 8.12 @ the 1000' marker and only 133mph. I just want to get my 60' down into the 1.2's instead of the 1.4's and not sure I want to push that car that hard...............want it to last 3/5 years without tearing into the motor/trans.
My Mike's transmission lasted 12 years.....................which must be some kind of record in drag racing. I'll stick with the 2spd.

Holy cow!!! You guys are talking VERY fast cars. I'm just a slow guy. 12.30s @ 112.
I envy you guys. Wish I could go that fast :thumbs2:

    Robbie,

Looks like you are having a lot of fun with you car and certainly 12:30's are really great..............you are only .3 seconds away from knocking down the 11 second door.
The ole saying, "How fast you want to go is directly tied to how much $$$$$ you want to spend", has never more true.
I am in the process of going through the whole drivetrain, engine, trans, rearend..................and although it has been some 12 years since the drivetrain was put together (and a testiment to the people that put it together, Mike's Transmission, CHP, Dutchman.......................it's going to cost A LOT OF MONEY to put it back to where it was.....................so, right now I would pretty happy to be pushing on that 11 second door as you are.....................rather than spending $1,000's of dollars to get the Maverick back to where she needs to be................................IMHO

Someday I would like to have my car run 10.90s. Very do-able. Only time and money will tell. Good luck with your car. I will be watch-in for it.
