hum good point but weld superlites and cragar drag lights also had that universal dealeo too. maybe i just got use to it.

but there is one way around it! change my car to spindel... lol j/k

but man you see the weight on those things!

i'm just looking for differant right now..

    i really like theses http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=129&name=TrakStar%20-%20Bead%20Lock&style=480R&desc=3-piece%20/%20forged%20alloy%20center&section=R

but best i can get on these right now is racer net. and they are still a grip.

    Derek,
Did your Boyd C sponsorship expire?
I really like the ones on your blue '73.

One thing that I have not seen at all
actually on a car is the 16/17 Cragar
    S/S.

    How would they look?

nah boyd deal is still good. no way i would change thoses!

but these would be for the white car... light weight good for drag racing (though the boyd i really like they just weigh to much for drag racing) anways trying to redo the car now. just got the paint today just planing ahead.

the white car was never sponsored on wheels before.. so i though i might as well try to hore it out and get some new wheels for the car to, to make it look differant. good news is mickey thompson sponsors my white car but thats just for tires. i haven't begged them yet for wheels :D

american racing said theyd give me racer net at 35% off but thats still a grip! and like i said they are hard people to get ahold of. :(

again just looking for something new and differant.

I think they would look better much without that ring of rivits around them. I never got that look.

its becuase its a real two peice... centers are supposed to be interchangeable er so to speak. but yeah hense the reason for the rivits and the high price!

but there are some that are fake (rivit) like the centerline autodrags and lot of import wheels as well.

I really like the larger diameter Cragars-vintage look in modern size.
    I dunno about weight however.

Might as well give Bogart a call and see what they have to say......they've got some nice looking wheels. I"ve heard that Weld is coming out (or may have already come out) with some new style wheels.

My .02 is that those American Racing units are bad ass! I'd go for them if I were spending your money.
    hehe
