well im very new to the maverick world, i have built a lot of imports in my day, and wanted to build a old hot rod but didn't want the same old camaro,nova,etc......and one day one of these sweet rides showed up at my work (I sell cars for a Mitsubishi dealer) so we don't offen see these cars in fact it was the first time i had seen one, its a 70 2dr mav and was in the middle of being complete. i was allways looking for a smaller muscle car to build and now i finaly found it. I have not yet bought one but will be buying one very very soon i found a 1970 in very good condion still has the straight 6 in it and needs some love on the exterior and interior but has a very straight body so as soon as i get it im sure i will have a lot of questions, this will be my first hot rod build so all the help and suggestions are welcome......Thanks
Howdy & These are great little cars.....look on here in the classified's, you might just get lucky and find a V8 car.....Good Luck!
welcome to the board. another az. person. one thing to watch out for on these cars is the cowl in front of the windshield. they are notorious for rusting out and hard to fix. take a gallon jug of water with you when you look at a car and pour it in and see if any comes out inside the car. it should all come out on the ground. there's getting to be quite a few mavericks in az. lately.
