Hi - everyone!! My name is jim i dont have a maverick anymore but used to have two of them. I had a 70 mav. with a straight six, and a 72 maverick that i fitted with a 302. Im all upset that i had to get rid of it when i moved from California to Hudson Florida. For some reason i cant find them here in Florida. I suppose no one knows where i can get one. Cheap!!

Rusty- would it be too much of a hassle to get a Maverick at a junk yard, if it has a salvaged title my brother is a mechanic and he said it's too much trouble.

Your best bet would be to check the laws in your state. In GA, any car older then '85 dosen't have to have a title. Don't know about Florida though. I have heard that you supposedly can't buy entire cars out of the junkyard at all in Florida, don't know how true that is though.
