1974 Maverick I bought for $500 8 years ago when I was 16. Since then I have invested $30,000 into it.
Im going to attempt to describe this. Has anyone seen the gas door mod. for newer mustang. It looks alluminum and round w/ screws around it and a door. Hopefully someone can help me based on this vague description. I wanted to try to put it on the Maverick. Thnx in advance for any help, Thom

If I remember correctly they're running an article in next month's Mustang & Fords mag that shows how to do this mod on a ranchero.

Thanks Tom, I had been thinking about doing that gas cap for a while. Tom how hard do you think it would be to do that gas cap but keep it in the original location. That how I wanted to do it. Thanks, Thom
