that is cause it was just announced. never let it be said that you don't hear it first on the MMB. or maybe second or third????
Well I can't wait to see what it's gonna cost to get recertified... 11.5 million in debt! I guess it's better than bankruptcy and reorganizing
Dang near have to be a lawyer to understand all that. Guess anything that makes money was sold, nhra will still be the governing body with rules an regulations. Is that what you all got out of it?
sounds to me like a seperation of the pros and the sportsmen racers. NHRA may be getting back to it's grass roots program of sportsman type racing. hope it bodes well for us little guys.
I did some more digging on it,.....seems some guy by the name T.L. bought it and one of the first new mandates is that "all" racers regardless of class (pro/sportsman) must now run 2 1/2 inch or less exhaust pipes, because thats all thats needed sorry mods, delete if you like
you forgot to mentioned all PINTO's and cars with sidepipes, chain steering wheels and shackles will be no longer be legal in any racing event.
Now maybe some of the Sportsmen guys will get some much deserved attention! Wonder how many more national events will be added?
