My nitrous kit is fully installed thanks to Bryant. I know I need to take some degrees off the timing. I am using the NOS powershot and doing a 125hp shot. I will use 91 octane. I have an arming switch in the car and the full throttle microswitch. Do I wait till I hit 2000 rpm and then hit the arming switch or should I get a window switch? I have the programmable MSD ignition 6AL-2.

Id arm it and have the micro setup to turn on at W.O.T.

YES! I was wondering about that window switch. I didn't want the tires to spin off the line and was wondering if the switch is the way to go.

How does a progressive work with our solenoids? I assumed the solenoid was wither open or closed, and the jet controlled the hit.

Otherwise, I like the idea of nitrous coming on at 3000 and cutting off at 6000 so it isn't still filling the manifold when I shift.

a progresser works by clicking the solenoids on and off realy fast while you are at WOT. It does it so fast that you dont even fill it doing it.

I wouldent worry too much about nitrous filing the intake on shifts expecially with a automatic trans. If it was a stick car then i would say a window switch for sure.I have a 125hp kit on my truck and i load the comvertor at 1500rpm (and have a WOT switch) when the last yellow comes on i mash it! Never had a burp, fart,or flutter. The 125 powershot has small selinoids and doesn't hit hard,it went 8 tenths faster on the spray.Oh by the way it is a stock cast piston 460 and i have put 7 bottles through it with no problems. My friends call it the "girly kit" haha.
