Anyone going to be at the NMRA Ford Nationals at US 131 Raceway Park in Michigan this weekend(July 7-9th)? We 'll be there with the orange car if we don't break it at test and tune this week. This week will be the first time we actually beat on it.

Here is the NMRA weekend update. We won the Street Ford Bracket with the Maverick today beating 4 rounds of Mustangs. The fastest it ran this weekend was a 12.63 at 105 and we got into the 1.7 60 ft times. My fiance drove it for me because we didn't have time to weld the seat brackets so that I could actually reach the pedals. It ran great all weekend, it desperately needs new gearing in the rearend and finish work in the interior and engine compartment. Another 10 second Maverick was runner-up in the Pro Ford bracket today so the two Mavericks at the event this weekend represented themselves well. And here are the pictures:

Congratulations!!!! Great job of representing the Maverick contingent. I watched the Quick Ford brackets on Saturday night in Norwalk (FFW race) and there were five Mavericks left after five rounds of racing. I heard later that it took 8 rounds to finish just the Quick Ford portion of the race!!!
