    Why did this post get moved from the "main" forum down to here?
    I like the headlight rings that way, in fact I'm having mine polished to look like chrome along with the hood strip so that it all matches. I hope to build a billet grill so it will all shine together.

    Yea, I'm not a big fan of blacked out grills either. On my 77 I painted the headlight doors and stone guard body color. I then found a NOS chromed grill and sport lamp doors. This is what it looked like with the blacked out stuff.

    This is the paint & chrome mods. The grill looks argent but it is a chromed one.
