No package tray at all?

Neither of my Mavericks have package trays and both are too early to have glove boxes. Do they mount to those plates on the side? Maybe they both had them at one time?

 

These mount on the kick panel for the package tray and dash to mount.

 

Yes they mount on those end plates and then a bracket in the center that fastens to the underside of the dash.

 

Also A/C and non A/C used different trays. The A/C tray is not as deep to clear the A/C and it has vents

I removed my lower dash and glove box to remove my heat-ac box. I haven't delved into that yet, but I actually like the looks of the upper dash without the lower one better! I'm going to try and figure out some way to leave out the lower dash and hide the heat-ac box. I can just make two brackets to hold the outboard ac ducts, but hiding the box is going to take a bit of thinking!

 

Yup, tons of extra stuff under there in plain sight.
