no parking lights

    Any tricks to help me figure out why I have no parking lights on my 72 comet, front and rear blink with blinkers but all side markers and parking lights are dead. All headlight and dash lights/backup lights work. thanks

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Sounds like you popped a fuse.Look for the burned out one.If it is a bad fuse you need to find out why it popped.Something shorted out.

    I found it to be 37 yrs of corrosion. I have the rears working and now working on the fronts some more. I cleaned connections and replaced bulbs no atter how they looked.

    Glad you found the problem.Electrical can be such a pain sometimes.I plan on putting a new harness in mine this summer.If I ever get the time to tear the car down anyways.
