74 maverick 2door 250 when car is cold front end makes no noise when it's hotter outside turning either direction makes creaking noises with some whining any suggestions car has only 98000 miles on it originally came from Texas. I'm up in Ontario Canada
Possibly upper control arms, tie rods etc need lubricating. After almost 50 years just about everything in suspension needs close inspection. Unless already replaced, steering/suspension components were probably at end of their service life 20-30K miles ago, especially idler arm, lower control arm and strut rod bushings. I'm in process of rebuilding front suspension on my 44K mi Fairlane, plus installing disc brakes. Fifty years takes it's toll on rubber bushings. Repl steering components last fall when I installed P/S.
