Northern California Car Show 7/8/12

We are having our yearly car show at my family's pizza restaurant in Placerville, Ca in two weeks from today, on Sunday 7/8/12. Placerville is located about 45 minutes East of Sacramento. I'm going to guess 50+ cars will be there and it would be cool to have a couple other Mavs or Comets there besides mine. There will also be BBQ, music and a trophy awarded for "fan favorite" (went to a '69 Charger last year). Free registration, free admission. It will start at 10 am and the trophy will be awarded probably around 2 pm(votes will be counted around 2 pm). Let me know if anybody is interested and I will give you the name of the restaurant and directions how to get there. I hope to here from some of my fellow Nor Cal-ers.

I'd love to come, but the Maverick is not quite ready plus I need to go pick up the 73 Grabber.
Maybe I can make it next year with both the race Maverick and the Grabber.

 

That would be cool! Hope to see you next year. The restaurant has been there for just about 35 years, so i'm assuming it will be there next year.

So, like an idiot I forgot my camera this morning. I was hoping to post up some pics for you guys. Oops! Anyway, I was the only Maverick there. Big surprise! I think my favorite car there was a 1972 Charger with the Magnum 400. She was a beauty!

wish I wouldve known about it I wouldve came just to check out your car and everyone leses while I was there. I just now read your post or I wouldve been there. Im just down the hill from you in ranchocordova maybe we can get together another day anyway. it would be fun to hang out with another comet maverick guy.

I actually recently did get a new phone, but I don't have the cord to plug into my computer.

 

I knew there was a member here down in Ranchocordova, but I couldn't remember who it was. Would definitely be cool to hang out with another Mav/Comet guy.
