I need an opinion from the Maverick experts on the board. I had my Grabber out the other day and had a person approach me and said their dad had a set of NOS fenders for one of those cars he had saved for years but I'm suppose to make an offer:huh: . What is a reasonable but good offer? I am going to buy them to use on my car when I restore it not to resell them. Any help with this or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's not too hard getting rust free fenders .... I'd say $300 for the pair is reasonable. Of course start off with $100 offer and work up! :)

Make sure they are Ford fenders. I bought a NOS one once and it turned out to be a NOS aftermarket. The seller should always set the price. I hate it when they dont. If he wont give you a price, offer $100 for the pair.

Talked to the guy today and looked at the fenders. There in brown bag looking things with D14 and a couple other # paint stampings on the back.Does that sound right . Any way he wants $300 a piece for them .Is that to much or is that going price . I`m going to call bennet this week and ask them .Thanks for the input on this .Hope to talk to some of you at carlisle. I'll be there for the duration.

D1 should mean 1971 model fenders.
    Price? I don't know.

Bought one off of e-bay a while back for $230. When I bought the fenders that are on my car back in the 80's, they came wrapped in a thick brown paper. Are the fenders in red or black primer?
I say they are definitely worth the money to the right person. If he started at $300 each offer $500 for the pair.
