Started off bad and got worse from there...to answer all the questions that this video will bring to mind.
Katie was riding to staging with me taking the video
Yes I was smoking a cig
No I wasn't trying to runover the guy in the wheelchair
Yes I did try to bypass staging and go straight to the burnout box.
I did try to go by the staging lane guy...no he wouldn't let me and told me what lane to get in.
No I wasn't in the groove on launch
Yes it looks like I was asleep at the light, had the box set 500 pro tree and it was 400
Yes I lifted to keep from goin into the other lane
    It was a 1.22 60 ft.
Yes it got worse from there:hmmm: .....http://www.neptune.com/users/riporter/videoWMP/riporter445049.wmv

Well it looked good. Nothing broke, nothing wrecked, and nobody hurt. Sounds good to me. Plus there was another Maverick there. Man, if I could do a 1.2 60ft, i'd be in the 11's.

You're right, Rick. It was a bad day. I'm afraid a few more of those will send you into a traumatic emotional tailspin. As a good friend, I'm going to intervene and suggest you not race anymore. I'll be in Charleston on Saturday to bring Plum Crazy back to Georgia and see that you get admitted into therapy. This hurts me as much as it does you, but it is time to exercise some tough love here. I know that one day you'll appreciate what I'm doing for you.:162::rolleyes::evilsmile

Terry I'm comin to Georgia in a couple of weeks and I'm stoppin by your house just to bust up that still you got back behind the house...I've told you that stuff will make you crazy:coco: :yup:
117? mph...Simon thats the bad part...I lifted totally off the pedal when the front wheels came down to keep from going into the other lane.
I was eatin Chevys all day during qualifying...what was funny is they lined me up with one of these 10.5 tire mustangs and I'm thinkin "piece of cake" I was a little slow on the light and this bastid jumps out in front of me like a dragster...then I'm thinkin OH SHeeeeiiiit! it was all I could do to run him down and beat him by less than half a car length...I got video of that too but it's not pretty when an old fart has to run a pro tree:49:

A sure sign that one has a problem is when they deny that they have the problem and put the blame on something or someone else. I believe your addiction is severe and already causing severe emotional trauma. We may have to do a group intervention.

One of these days, the car and the driver are going to perform equally well and that will be a timeslip for framing.

Really, I can't wait to see this car run in real life. That will be the highlight of the day for me. (y) That thing is a monster!

When I go to car shows and events, I usually take two different sets of pictures...set 1) cars ... and set 2) car show babes. That car will definitely be in set 2. (y)

Not a bad run but it sure looks like the car wants to go left on the launch
