I've posted a few front end treatments awhile back and thought I'd throw this one to the board. It seems pretty do-able. I just gave this pic a quick chop (forgive the crudeness please) to see what it would look like.
It's based off my Matador project I've also been toying with.
Yep..you read it right, a AMC Matador. Voted one of the ugliest cars of all time right behind the Pacer.
First pic is the AMC project I might have to abort....other is the Maverick. Apology's to Tom for "Hacking" his car photo.

    What do you guys think?

I think it looks good in a semi-futuristic road racer kind of way. Would look good all blacked out...kind of a Maverick Interceptor.

I agree completely. I actually think it looks pretty cool. Not that I would do it to my mav, but if I had one in the future to screw with, I'd look into that setup. If anything, it's something new and different, go for it! (y)

Not bad. Try puting a 70 torino front clip on it.

Its a small idea I had after the AMC thing started not to pan out. My idea for the Maverick was for it to be a two seater Silver State Classic open road race car with rollbar etc..etc..powered by a hefty 302.

    Rounded edges a tad....That more Torino-iee Streetdecon ?

And this would be done on a 74-77 style, not a small bumper so don't hate to much.

I agree I like the 1st picture minus the Camero slope, just leave it flat and blunt no downward curve on the fenders either.

Looks like a Mad Max car. Could be cool depending on color.
All blacked out with no badges. Black wheels. Stroker Windsor, Procharger 4 speed car.

I was thinking all white with some nice alum wheels and trim. Kinda subdued, like the Boss 429...very minamilistic.
