    :bananaman Hey! Everybody!

I just bought a new to me Comet last night. A 1973 Comet with a 302. It's saddle bronze with a brown halo vinyl top. It was a grandma special. 107,952 original miles and original blue California plates. My other comet is a 1964 404 Sedan 200 ci 6 cyl. that I also bought from the original owner, but that car has never been restored or cosmetically maintained. Check it out: http://www.mariaceleste.net/cars/64comet

I will post a site for my new comet as soon as I get it home and cleaned up.

This site is great. Can't wait to get to know everybody.

    Maria Celeste

Just got it on the road

Today was a big day for my new Comet. I got it registered at AAA, replaced the battery and cables, converted it to electronic ignition. And got it washed.

A wash job and an electronic ignition swap in the same day?
    You have been busy.

    Congrats on your new car.

Got dual exhaust (2 1/2" pipe from the manifold to the axle) with a balance pipe installed yesterday. OMG she sounds so bad ass.

Also got the a/c fixed. You need that for these crazy Los Angeles freeways.

And the best part: I beat my husband's 2001 SVT Cobra in a rolling start drag race last night. :smash:

    Go little Comet Go.
