offset??

is offset the same as backspacing on wheels?

does anyone know how offset relates to fitment

 

I think the offset is how far "in" or back the actual wheel spokes are from the outside of the tire. So the more offset on the wheel would push the tire out more, generally speaking of course. Just remember some states have laws on how far your tires can pass your fender so if youre getting crazy with the offset, check first. I think that's offset, but not too sure.
