I'm painting my '70 Mav as a tribute to Ohio George's multi maverick. i have scoured the net to find more info on this fiberglass funny car. I even bought the January '71 issue of Hot Rod on ebay to source some quality pics. I looked on Ohio George's web page, Mr Gasket and even the "vette store" web site to find out more information on this one-year only drag car. it seems to either have been a failure, or everyone wants it to disappear from history.
If anyone has seen it, snapped some poloroids of it....or other leads that I can pursue, please feel free to let me know. Thanks

To my knowledge that car was never raced in competition it was just to promote the mpc model and I think it had two different paint jobs over time

Take a ride to the shop and he'll talk your ears off...lol! George is a really nice man and always likes having visitors. He has a little museum set up in the shop as well.

Your absolutely right Lowteck. George only ran it once according to him in a interview I reads years ago. It was MPC'baby and brainstorm. Dont know what became of the car.
