Moroso deep works great on 302s and 351c on mine. Milodon was supposed to work... It has 'kick outs', but they are sloped downward. Other 'kick out' style pans, and Milodon wannabes don't work because the kick outs hit the suspension. My .02 Dave
well???? I was told they don't fit due to the shallow part of the pan hitting the psuedo cross member or steering components. It is a front sump pan! Does anyone know the part number for the milodon stock replacement pan (I think mine is MIL 30720)? Is it possible I'm mistaken
That's the number they show on the website. Don't know why it doesn't work as Milodon probably uses the stock pan and replaces the sump to make the 30925 pan.
To all who posted, I was told the pan would not fit. I haven't actually tried it yet. I posted to see what others found when using these pans. Perhaps I should have stated it more as a question! I looked under the car and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit. The milodon is a little deeper but there is plenty of room between the pan and steering center link. I think I'll put it on the engine that is going into the car and hopefully all goes well. I appreciate all of the posts. It appears that everyone has been successful with these pans.
It fits just fine I have a stock mildon(with internal baffles) on mine. The canton deep sump pan does not fit our cars. The milodon 8/9 qt does(whatever it is) it is installed on my brothers car.
