well i actually built the rails up to where they go underneath the floorpan before i cut out anything. then i took out the front part of the frame rail first( if you look at your you will see where the frame is spotwelded together just where it gounder the firewall, also the floorpan it self is lapped over right there.) i left the back part of the front frame in there and tack welded to it until i had the frame set. then it was a matter of cross measuring (which i had also done before hand and wrote some down) and i also invested in a small torpedo level that has a lazer line on it for hanging pictures and painting a strait line....you can pick one up at wal-mart for about 25 dollars. very handy tool lemme tell ya.
then i re attached the front crossmember and the fenderwell/shocktower then went over to the left rail and did the same thing.........the went underneath and removed the rest of the rails and reinstalled them also.... hope that you understand my explanation lol

as far as the mountholes go for the steerbox and idlerarm i waited till i had the frame in and reattached everything for the steering then marked the holes to drill them out

Clearly an advocate of "Save the Mavericks" foundation. We have to do whatever is necessary so the species survives. Nice work, I can't wait to see the finished product.:bananaman
