I e-mailed the guy that owns it, and waited several days for a reply. So what I know so far:

1972 3 speed 302:yahoo:, and to quote the e-mail "It needs interior work has a little rust around the fenders also needs new bushings in the front end runs good fun car"

I asked several more questions, but I have no idea when he will get back in touch.

In the meantime he sent 2 pics. So go ahead tear it up:evilsmile...

...but keep in mind this may be my future car so don't hurt my feelings too bad:(.

That is the oddest location for a water faucet I think I've ever seen. Pics don't tell me much about the car other then a few vague references it might be a Sprint. Ask him if it has RB under TRIM on the door tag.

Yeah I asked him to send the vin as well as the trim code. Hopefully I don't have to wait forever to get a response.

Looks like a sprint from the interior. I think its a great looking car go for it!! Much rarer then a grabber. I would defiantly choose this over the clone car, or any other car you find unless you find a stallion.

How can you tell?Shouldn't a sprint have white/blue seats?

It appears the seats are not original. But looks like the rest of the interior is white. Also, the black grill, and white painted boomerangs point towards it being a Sprint. I'd be a little surprised if it isn't. Apparently factory V8 (5 lug), and a manual trans at that. Could be a great find.

Same and the title of the photo says maverick sprint, by looking at it, it looks like a sprint and if the guy says it is i would say so.

The trim towards the back of the quarter windows are called the "boomerangs".If you took one off and straightned it a little bit it might come back.

Looks ok in the pic's, but that won't tell you much. You need to go look in person.

    Sorry,but it would take a little more,than a title on a photo,and someone "telling"me.

Well the interior is white, has had a repaint but the repaint seemed to follow the sprint lines, White boomerangs, guy says its a sprint so i would be say more then likely it is. Im not saying %100 it is but once he gets the trim code we will know %100.

The boomerangs on my Sprint are chrome. So, no, not all Sprints have white boomerangs.

302/3 spd Sprint would be an interesting combo to own. Good luck with it.
