Has anyone ever replaced the torsion spring for the trunklid in a Maverick? If so, what was involved and how much of a pain in the @$$ was it?...

I've changed mine's position. There are several notches, so maybe you can just move it if it's sagging. I've never had to replace it.

Thanks guys...mine is already adjusted to the highest tension but the Grabber spoiler makes the lid too heavy to stay open. I know that the later models ('74-'77) had heavier trunklids & stiffer springs so I'm gonna look for one of those. I have passed many by because I didn't know if I'd be able to safely remove them...
