I noticed you cut 1 1/2 coils from the six cyl springs on the 75. I have a 74 with similar weight characteristics and I was wondering how much travel you have between the upper control arm and the rubber bump stop?

Can't tell you right now because the engine is out of the car, but since it has been a few years since I did it, the mind is not remembering things like I used too. Never did feel it bottom out on them though. If son gets engine back in soon will check it out then. Sorry bout that.

    EFIMAV,

it's about 2 inches, max. It does bottom out occasionally, but only on very hard driving over rough roads. Usually, the headers were the first thing to hit and the bump stops arent felt nearly as much.

Oh, forgot to mention, road kills are now road "hazards"--the car sits so low that small squirrels and cats that are unfortunate enough to be some other car's speedbumps are a lowered maverick's oil and transmission pan nightmare!
