k, here is the story behind fordified. Back in the day I used to do a lot of street racing. There was a 69 Camaro that was a big block that was real fast. On the back of that car read, You've just been Rat-ified! One day I was reading a cereal box (I was in high school and worked at a grocery store) that stated something about fortified with oats. My mind clicked ( I think that was the first and only time ) hmmm this could lead to fordified. Well next thing ya know it's on the tailight panel of my car. One night I got pulled over by a cop ( happened all the time ) and he asked me what the hell was going on with the fordified thing. I told him I got it off a cereal box. He laughed his a$$ off and let me go with a warning. When my little brother was in high school his buddies knew my car as the Fordified car. I finally took it off in 1984 and was bout half tempted to put it back on recently. But old age has taken over and I no longer want to deal with cops, street racing (lie) or any of the old days. Too much trouble and waaaaaaaaaaay too many fines
PS for those who do not know, a big block chevy is known as a Rat motor, hence the dude in the camaro with the ratified thing.

Pss, no I never actually raced the dude in the Camaro, I am sure he would have beat me. From what I hear, that car is still owned by the same dude and is in storage. It was a nice car.
