What I am looking for is the "original" 1977 Maverick Strip Kit-Package. I have seen a number of different Grabber stripings...but I want to find what the "77" Grabber markings looked like...any help would be appreciated. Thanks.:thumbs2:

I don't think they had a Grabber in 77. 75 was the last year for them and 76 had the stallion.:)

Well, that makes sense why you can't find "77" Grabber strip kits. Did Ford make any type of muscle or sport model in "77"?

None for the Mavericks, and grabbers were always "appearance" only. Sadly they didn't get anything real muscle cars got.

Well I sort of know that, I was just asking if in "77" did Ford / Maverick have a model similar to the grabber or were they all simply Mavericks......I am really attempting to get an original brochure which shows options on the "77". I recenlty purchased one off of eBay and waiting to get it and see what it sais. Anybody know any web sites that will show all "77" options. Thanks.

They just had a plain jane models, probably because it was the last year.

Here's a link to the brochures, unfortunately they don't have the 77 maverick one. But they have other Ford 77 brochures.

I just returned home from picking up the "77" (Thursday, 7/21/11). The Good: She looks great, being all original has her age blemishes....but looks great. I drove her from Toledo, Ohio area back to the Canfield, Ohio are, appx. 170 + miles...mostly Turnpike. She cruised at 70 MPH straight and true. The BAD: She has no air (as advertised) which is ok with me.....but......It was 100 degrees plus in Toledo and when I got home it was 96 degrees.......2 1/2 hours on the Turnpike, NO AIR, windows down, rear vents open.....truck noise, heat coming off the road and everybody passing giving me the "thumbs up" while in their AC vehicles. My body followed me in my F150 SuperCrew Cab.....with the AC blasting. Oh well, she is home, after I take a rest I will start looking her over...pics will be coming...stay tune.
