    What if anything can be done b4 install to dress them up? my motor is going to be painted, and i don't think there is a engine paint on the mkt that can withstand exh man heat. thank you in advance.

    Power coat them or get some 1000 degree exhaust paint.

    Plasti-kote makes a special manifold / header paint - comes in different colors. Cost is amazingly cheap at about $5 a can - enough to do 5 sets of manifolds. Rated to 1300 degrees.

    Warning: It absolutely needs to be sprayed and then within a couple hours run on the engine to cure properly. The only other way to cure the coating, is in a 500 degree oven - and with the fumes it gives off when curing you do not want to do it in your kitchen. :cry:
