Just make sure the car is very straight. Black shows all imperfections!
I had a black T-Bird years ago, sure did look good all cleaned up and waxed. But then the dust would settle on it quickly. Today we have the car dusters, you will definitely want one if the car get's painted black.

Maverick1970 is most certainly correct about making sure the bodywork is as straight as can be. Black is THE most unforgiving color to put on a car. Every little imperfection will stand out like a sore thumb on a black car. If you live in a warm climate and don't have an airconditioner in the car, you will really roast in it if you paint it black. Another thing about black paint is that it tends to be a magnet for dust and pollen. There is nothing wrong with wanting to paint a car black, in fact I love a flawless black paint job. They just happen to be a bear to keep clean.

Black cars look awesome(when clean) thats the problem, dust seems to be attracted to shiny black cars. And yes straight straight straight.

Bright colors are cool as well. The only problem with bright colors is getting rubber on the quarters behind the rear tires:162: .

Or maybe think of a metallic/pearl color, with some good flip to it, that would be cool also.

Or flat black with flames, kind of a streetrod/ lead sled look, baby moon hubcaps, lake pipes, slammed to the ground, chopped top, and dingle balls or fuzzy dice etc.etc. just kidding on the street rod look.

For some reason, every female that sees the Orange Maverick, in my driveway, does not like it. On the other hand, every guy loves it. I will be getting the "Pumpkin" (as my wife and daughters call it) painted because it will be my daughter's car and she wants almost besides orange.
