overhead console

    '75 Maverick, '03 super duty, '04 Mustang Vee-six!
    Did an overhead console come factory on a '75 4 door Maverick? I found one at a salvage yard today. '75, looks like an LDO car, big bumpers, inline 6, power brakes and it had an overhead console. I have never seen/heard of one, just wondered if they were factory installed or what.

    Nope, Some Mustangs had them, maybe it's a Mustang one?

    Probably is a Mustang one. I remember it having a compass in it but that was all. I didn't look that closely. It looked factory--which is why I asked.

    The car does have ground effects on it so it looks like it's been modded a little over the years. It's weird...it's got fender flares too. They look ghetto but the lower skirts looked cool! Wish I'd have snapped a picture or two but it was raining and I was in a hurry to get out of that mud hole.
