i have a 73 package tray with the glove box and the plastic is cracked right above the glove box door and has a couple holes in the middle from switches ( was in a drag car) what would be the best to repair it? i was thinking about fiberglass and mixing it to be lite ( to keep down on the heat ) or is there something else??

Fiberglass on the inside maybe for support, and a fine filler in the crack.
I used some bodyshop adhesive (comes in a double tube sort thing) to fix my grill, it hardens and sands out just like plastic.

I did the same thing as Dave for the lower dash on one of my Stallions. I took the lower dash all the way out to do this. I was able to insert a small piece of flat bar on the inside where it was broken at as a reinforcement. I just let the two part epoxy flow around it. Much stronger than new now. I figured if it cracked once it would probably try again.
