Maybe I'm having a brain fart here....but are the paints and dyes for Mustangs (the same year) the same colors as a Maverick? It seems that I ordered some interior paint for a 70 Mustang and it didn't match...then I had to get paint for a 71 Mustang. It's been so long ago I can't...but it seems I ran into a problem. My 71 Mustang seat covers seem to match my original 70 seat color perfectly.
I just got in 69-70 Mustang blue paint from NPD. I'm gonna test it this weekend to see if it looks correct and will report back. One thing I did catch is that it is enamel and not laquer.
