ok, heres what i got. door sticker says paint : 509d trim : ju vin is 6K30L514914 every site, and ive looked at quite a few, list nothing close. this is the car, its cometprincess's old 4 door. coincidentally its very similiar to my 72 gt color, and both will get a full bath of whatever brown it is. thanks for any info.

yea, i got that sheet, but the exact numbers dont jive. am i looking at something wrong . as far as the code? say its a q, not impossible, but whats the d?
doesnt have a vinyl top, and apparently it never did. just what i was told. they were real adamant about it too. was there ever such an animal?

My 71 4dr is Grabber Blue with a white painted roof that shows the two paint codes on the door tag together. On Ford's with a vinyl roof, the second code after the paint color will tell what color and material the vinyl roof was originally.
Forgot to ad in last post, I know most folks want a 2dr, but that is one BEAUTIFUL Comet. I am seriously jealous!
