I believe (what's left of) the blue metallic paint on my 69.5 Maverick is the original paint.

Anyone know what Ford called this color?

Is the data tag still on the car?

I would guess paint code Q which in 69 1/2 was called There She Blue Poly and became Medium Blue Poly in 70.

That was the color of mine, funny that on the dealer paperwork they called mine Brittany Blue which was the name for Q code paint in 68

There was "Hula Blue" as well, though I don't know the code off hand without looking it up.

Was there a silver color available for 69.5-73 Mavericks?

I'm thinking of doing my car in the original blue, with silver hood and side stripes. Though it may not be a factory color combo, I still thought it'd be cool to use original Maverick colors.

That, and I want to do the interior in gray and blue, and thought that'd be a nice body color scheme to compliment it.

I believe my 69 1/2 is the same color. According to my Marti report, it's code 6 and is called Medium Bright Blue Metallic.
