Paint Ideas?

    I was just wanting some ideas on what to paint my 76 maverick,...i was thinking candy apple red, or bahama blue, but i dont know if the blue will look good with my black int. :dance:

    Black interior looks good with any color.(y)

    The beauty of having a black interior is that any color will look good with it. No matter what color you paint the outside of the car, the black interor will compliment it.

    Green looks good with black int .But I might be bias becuase my grabber is green.

    bahama blue it is, ..i'm going to get a grabber hood to go on her, but ....that in the future.....wwwwaaaayyy in the future, i want to save the money to get a 75 comet i found ($200) :bananaman :woohoo1:

    What color was it originally? I agree, black looks good with most every exterior color.
    Unless you had an icky original exterior color, I would consider painting it the original
    color-depending on the look that you want.

    yeah, I dont have a mav for my daughter yet so my opinion 1st off probably doesnt count and two is unbiased but I like orange.

    Living here in East Tennessee......Orange and White...UT Colors...That was the color of my first maverick 1974 ....Factory Paint Code 5W with white grabber stripes.

    paint it whatever color you like, you have to look at it every day(y)


    lighter colors will draw out the lines and contours a bit more, as well as draw less attention to any problem areas or rough body work.
    darker colors will somewhat mask body lines,and will demand a smoother finish(in general)
    I've seen mavericks in all colors, most anything will look nice:)

    Silver is a color you don't see on Mavericks to much...
