So I've got my Mav about ready for paint and I'm wanting to black out all my stainless/aluminum trim. My question is does anyone have any experience between shooting it with an epoxy primer and then paint, or powder coating it.
I have a good powder coater I use alot who will do all my trim, but it would be alot cheaper to just spray it when I do the car.
Will an epoxy primer "grab" into/onto the trim? I am pretty sure the powder coating will not have any issues with adhesion. Any advice?

Would the rear window trim hold up to the heat required to cure the powder coating?

I don't know how well powder coating vs. paint will hold up against constant U.V. exposure, and if the item gets dented or bent, will the powder coating still adhere or flake?
