I have narrowed my search of painters so the MAV will be in the shop within the next 2 weeks. Couple of ?'s though. I went through a lot of pictures in the gallery but still was wondering:

    1) What are people doing with the headlight trim? Blacked out, silver or I even saw some body color

    2) What about the valance behind the bumper(front) Original silver or body color?

    3) A few of the painters are anxious to remove the front windshield as they say the rubber gasket is hard to find. True?

Thanks all, getting excited now.... Scott

Match the headlight trim to the grill or polish them completely

My rock guard is body color but it was silver from the factory

Windshield seal is readily available on E-bay, Autokrafters, Steele Rubber and others

My opinion is if the grill is blacked out, the stone guard and headlight doors look best of blacked out too. If the grill is argent, I like the stone guard to be body color. The headlight door can either be argent or body color. I painted my 77 body color and I really liked it but its a matter of personel taste.

Argent is the stock silver color.

The windshield weather stripping is available from Auto Krafters and a few other places.
