Painted my dash the other day, took me quite a while, but I think it came out pretty good for a quick job. It's just some cheap $0.98 a can spray paint from walmart. I have some red metal flake under the clearcoat that I added using some spray car tint then spraying over it with some clear to seal it in.

Definitely, it locks nice… you have any plan to do the same in some other interior part? I’m asking because I want to learn from your experience and do the same in my mave.

here's my interior done up in photoshop of how it's kinda going to look when it's done. Not too sure about the red carpet right now. And it will have a B&M unimatic shifter, console, and bucket seats.

I like the rear view mirror on the front floor. That's one way of finding that change from the drive through! Just kidding.

Max; you might try knocking the pin out of the shifter handle, or what is left of it. It just slides out, and you won't cut yourself while driving. Also, remove the wheel, grind off the shifter boss, and fiberglass the hole, and smooth and paint. Never know it was there! Not raggin' on ya, just some constructive suggestions.

Earl: Yeah I know, I'm planning on doing that. Just keep in mind that almost everything I do is limited severely by my schedule. I'm going to get to removing the shifter and grinding off the gear indicator and then smoothing it all out and covering it with body filler. This is just the first step.
