I'm looking for a spot to pass wires through the firewall. I want to get a power line through along with some gauge wires and a steel braided hose for an oil pressure gauge. A spot that seems pretty good is to the upper left of the steering column. It doesn't look like there's a lot of things to run into on the other side. I'll just have to secure the wires to make sure they don't get caught up in the steering. There's a lot of room father to the left, but as far as I can tell that goes into the fender.

For anyone who's done this before, is this spot a good idea or bad idea?
