XPSNAKE/Bruce has a new set he will make you a deal on. Ground clearance was an issue for him.

Don't know about NC, but in PA the exhaust outlet has to be behind the door seam.

I used them on my car when I first got it.

These were the 60" kit, I think the 70" kit would fit better filling up some of that space behind the front wheel.

I did have dragging issues. Actually, one was bent as the installer drove it off the lift. I removed the rear bumper and got an inch or so clearance, then went with air shocks (before I knew better). Never had a problem after that.

these are 4 feet long.they came on the car when i bought it.when i put headers on my car i was lucky we have a real good muffler shop in town the S curve on a 3 inch piece of pipe they had to bend to connect the header to the sidepipe is a work of art.then i had them rechromed while we were restoring the car.i had a lot of people try to talk me out of putting them back after i put headers on but i REALLY like the sidepipe look.now that the car is finished and everything is rechromed they really make the car in my book.course i'm alittle biased [IMG][IMG]

The only reason I took mine off was because I couldn't find a decent muffler guy to hook them up with headers. I really liked the look AND they sounded great!

I have a set on my maverick that goes from the front wheel well to the rear one. I don't remember what size they are. If you go with this size just remember that full headers go past in the pipes. So I had to buy shorty headers and I'm going to install them when I go home for R&R
