http://www.InnovativeDRM.com/maverick/dash/1.jpg I got these from a local guy who has a maverick. Swung by his house to see if he had a fender and his brother was there. We went out to the back of the house to see what all he had. He called up his brother and asked if he wanted to get rid of a fender for me. As he was on the phone I threw out joke "Ill take these seats off your hands" and he said go ahead. :Handshake Broke them down and gonna have the support braces/brackets sand blasted and powder coated then it'll be off to the upholstery shop to get skinned.
I just sold a set of seats that look like those, except they were black. They were pulled from a Pinto station wagon. If I remember correctly, I paid $25 for them and I sold them a few weeks ago for $150.
The only reason I sold mine is because I have a set of buckets from a '96 Mustang that are more comfortable. I chose comfort over looks, but I also knew that I would be able to make a little something off of the Pinto seats.
So I have figured out they're 73 Pinto Wagon Bucket Seats. If someone can help me find new foam for them, I would be forever their friend I have searched high and low and just cannot locate them.
I used Pinto seat tracks in my Comet when I first got bucket seats. They placed the seats too far back for most people. If you really lucked out, the seat tracks that are bolted to those are Mav seat tracks. Pinto seats will bolt right on them. Got a picture of the tracks? I can tell you what you have there. If the foam was done similar to the 73-up Mav standard buckets, it is molded into the frame .... not a separate piece like the earlier ones. That may be a toughie ... and that seat bottom is smaller than the Mav seat (narrower). It may be easier to add more foam to what is there to rebuild it. I have several seat frame pieces here for sale. It may be possible to add a Mav seat bottom to those backs. PM me and we can swap some measurements if you may want to try that. I would bet that the seat back is the same piece used in 73-up Mavs.
I have a set of seats from a 74 Pinto Wagon in which I was thinking about rebuilding as well. I haven't tore into them yet, have you?
I tore into mine. I'll take pictures of everything and post it. At the hospital. Girlfriend may be induced so I may get to meet my daughter a week or two early
