It's nothing special unless you get the control valve eliminator the mustang places sell. I just swapped in stock manual centerlink, pitman arm (the whole box actually, I hate pulling pitman arms...), and idler arm and tie rod ends. Since the center link was from a 71 I got inner tie rods for a 71, but they were exactly the same as the 77 inner tie rod ends i already had.
If you would take a picture of what yours looks like now that its done i'd be your best friend forever.
