Here she is folks, my pride and joy! 1972 Ford Maverick, perfect tan interior, 200 six, and C-4. Also only 80,164 miles! It's my baby!
Well...... The car was bought in 1972 by a doctor up the country a little from us. He ordered it with pretty much every option I guess, except a 302. It has the 200, C-4 , factory AC, leather(or whatever) interior, the vinyl trim outside, and a white color exterior. Later he painted it the red/white combo. Something or another happened, and he took it away from his stepdaughters, and put it into a barn, where it sat for 20+ years before he died. When it was rediscovered, it had 45,000 original miles. That was roughly 3 years ago. I have since redone the interior(except the seats, they were PERFECT!) and I also repainted the car. I liked the red/white combination, so I went back with it. I tell you what, I have the only one like it around here (I've never seen another mav/comet on the road, except for our '76 comet). I show the mav, and get at least 2 offers a week to sell it, but it's not for sale. I really enjoy the comments that I get on it, and people always have a story about a mav/comet they had. I love my Mav! Ya'll take car. Preston And thanks for the comments!
Clean looking ride, Country! What part of Louisiana are you from? I was bornded in New Iberia, but moved 'up north' (Alexandria area) at a young age. I still like going back (especially to The Big Easy ) I'd like to see some interior picks also. Nice!

really nice really nice car, the small bumpers are the key. and you do drive it, right?? I mean, it looks clean.
Oh yes, Yes I drive it. I live 20 miles from the nearest town, so school and groceries mean that the Mav. gets at least 40 miles put on it EVERY DAY. I hate putting the mile on it, but love driving the car. So I just watch the speedometer and gas guage, and not the odometer . Thanks for the comments ya'll.
