if someone comes up with a mav or comet , if they are interested i have a 351w block and c4 trannsmission i would like to donate, its not a early model block its a later 86 block but its an idea and the tranny im sure it could see a rebuild its nothin special just some ideas
I dont see how anyone can justify giving away time and money like that. I guess they go into it with that "there's no way I can loose" attitude. But, at least half of them are wrong.

Hmmmm....Here's the deal...I'd do it if there was enough money to buy my car back if I lost, whatever amount would be acceptable to the winner. I'd pay the expense of setting the car up for 1/4 mile, possibly add some nitrous and alcohol carb AND pay for the trip. But there's no way I'm leaving the track without my car.
most of the time they ask for 12 sec car and someone always brings the 8 sec car.And does not want to give anything up,to make it a good race.
